Pastor Barnes

Ian BarnesPastor Ian Barnes is a native of Kingston, Jamaica and a graduate of Jamaica College High School. It was at this institution that he gave his heart to Christ, and soon after became the Vice-President of the Inter School Christian Fellowship (ISCF) which was a Christian Association founded by Students in high schools across the Island, geared towards discipleship.
After graduating from Jamaica College, Pastor Barnes helped to establish cell groups meetings that met every Saturday in private homes of friends and family. He also served on committees for the youth fellowship within the Church home of Arlene Gardens Gospel Assembly where he was under the divine leadership of Pastor Euwart Watson.
Pastor Barnes, along with other fellow committee members of Youth for Christ International, was instrumental in organizing one of the biggest gospel concerts celebrated every New Year’s Eve, known by all as “Genesis.”
In 1996 Pastor Ian Barnes migrated to United States, and after a period of soul searching and being chastened by God, Pastor Barnes was led to Faith in Action Deliverance Ministries. It was there while Evangelizing and doing Administrative duties that God spoke through prophesy that he had a pastoral calling on his life.
On 23rd of October, 2004, Pastor Barnes was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel at Faith in Action Deliverance Ministries. He later moved to Douglasville, Georgia where he became an Associate Pastor at Kingdom Living Ministries. Pastor Barnes is married to his wife of 19 years, Mitzie Barnes and their two children: Delano and Destini Barnes.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” is the scriptural base that drives him to seek out and get involved with life changing projects, geared towards spreading the good news of salvation through prayer, and the practical show of love.
